Dyfed Powys Civil Food Resilience
The Dyfed Powys Local Resilience Forum covers the area of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys, and brings together local authorities, emergency services and other services such as local food partnerships. The overarching purpose of this project is to begin developing a comprehensive food resilience strategy for the Dyfed Powys area.
Commissioning a Comprehensive Study: This study will encompass mapping and analysis of risks, existing critical infrastructure, and population nutritional needs. It will also provide a range of recommendations for mitigating various types and durations of disruptions to the food supply.
Engendering Activity for Increased Local Resilience: This objective focuses on fostering activities across the four Local Food Partnerships to plan and implement measures that enhance local resilience through the development of shared infrastructure.
